Established in 2002, our NGO first of all represents active and initiative youth – schoolchildren, university students and graduates of the faculties: psychology, history of arts, culture, semiotics, economics and business administration, English philology, political science, medicine, energy and technology etc (age 16-28); as well as professionals and specialists, who are active in their everyday activities and that are devoting their skills and knowledge to the development of youth politics, studies, sports and culture.
The main themes and fields of project activities embrace:
- Anti-Semitism, Racism, Nationalism (with the focus on Russian speaking minorities in the Baltic States) and similar kinds of phobias, fights against prejudices;
- Regional development; emphasis on socio-economic development and ecology;
- Youth and leisure with the focus on youth problems (unemployment, drug addiction, alcoholism);
- Diasporas policy and development;
- Personal development, leadership, public speaking;
- Project management education;
- Health perspective (AIDS prevention, sexually-transmitted infections, early pregnancy etc);
- Politics and youth involvement: political integration.
